How do you showcase 25+ years of work?
From the beginning… I am a lifelong lover of graphic design and creating beautiful photographs. My experience started when the Apple Macintosh first arrived on the scene. I have knowledge of old world graphic design - hand-cutting and pasting to the convenient new world of digital graphic design, so I understand the processes from start to finish; from beginning to end.
Starting as a Production Artist and Project Supervisor at OC Tanner, I shifted to began a long career at Sundance Catalog in 1999. I have evolved my career over 25+ years. My last position as an employee at Sundance Catalog was Director of Digital Design. I am now a freelance/contract professional designer with experience in multiple platforms and a variety of graphic projects both digital and print.

My digital project history includes design and production for websites, web page headers, specialty landing pages, emails, digital ads, animated gifs and social posts. I have participated in multiple website redesigns and managed a team of designers, copywriters and UX/UI design and production artists.
My print experience includes catalog templates, layouts and design; mailers, brochures, packaging design, business cards, large-scale projects such as billboards, retail barricades and airport signage. I have managed and created processes for teams of design and production print professionals.
I have created and presented creative strategies, storyboards and concepts to executive teams and clients.
As an art director, I worked in-studio on jewelry, home, fashion and on-figure shots. I have directed location crews (including in very deep snow) for still life and on-figure photography. I have many years of experience managing digital and print studio teams of photographers, stylists and copywriters.
I am proficient in Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat, Bridge; Microsoft: Excel, Word, Powerpoint; and messaging apps (slack, dropbox) and project and website management tools such as front end admins (wix, squarespace, kibo) and have experience with google docs, sheets and google drive.
I am a proofreader, very detail-oriented and enjoy the challenge of a new project.
I love volunteering and do as much charity work as I can.
I am a 200 Hour YTT Certified Yoga Teacher and teach one night a week at a Rec Center near my home.
I love animals, my family and spending time outdoors.
